Seal A Driveway Upgrade Priority
Capacity and squeegee length first. Walk speed last. Rebirth rebuilds the same way.
Seal A Driveway pays for coverage, not for how fast you jog past a grey corner. The official upgrade list is short: bucket capacity, pour speed, refill speed, squeegee length, and walk speed. The order you buy them in is the early game. Pair this page with the truck tier list so you do not park a Cistern Heavy behind a teacup bucket, and with how to seal so the extra litres land on asphalt.
Lunate Studios released the sim on 5 August 2026. Prices are not listed — this wiki does not invent cash or Robux costs. Buy after a 100% lot, not before you understand a bead.
The buy order
1. Bucket capacity (first, and first again after Rebirth).
Every refill walk is dead time. Capacity deletes those walks. Public gameplay has pushed a bucket into the neighbourhood of 164 L; treat that as a snapshot from a long session, not a hidden cap you must hit tonight. You need fewer trips, not a magic litre number. If the pail dies in the first third of a neighbourhood pad, capacity is the purchase. It also makes pour speed safer: a fast pour with no tank is just a faster empty.
2. Squeegee length (tied for first on small lots).
Length is how much asphalt one pull blacks out. Footage of a late squeegee looking like half a road is the same rule with a punchline: wider blade, fewer passes, fewer misses. On a Bantam Dart street, a long blade plus a bigger bucket beats any walk-speed node. Once the blade is huge, controls matter — you can clip kerbs and other players. Length is still worth it. Learn to steer it.
3. Pour speed (after you have volume).
Pour speed is how fast the bead comes out. Buy it when the bucket is already respectable. A max pour on a tiny pail means you sprint the refill loop even harder. On Cyber Seal the pour is already aggressive — do not stack this until you can 100% a lot without skating off the pad.
4. Refill speed (pairs with capacity).
Refill speed shortens the time you stand at the tank. It is good. It is not as good as carrying more sealer so you visit less. After a couple of capacity ranks it is the clean fourth buy, especially on Megamart-scale pads where you still return once or twice.
5. Walk speed (last of the five).
Walk speed is honest: you move faster between lot, truck, and shop. It is also the trap. Empty sprints look productive and still leave grey corners. Buy it when capacity and length already do the job and you are losing time in transit. The Getting Started hour should barely touch it.
What to skip early
Skip walk speed until the other four are not embarrassing. Skip a Longline 280 or Cistern Heavy if the bucket is still small — read the truck tier list and the money guide first. Skip Cyber Seal if you cannot 100% a neighbourhood pad with a normal pour; the shop sealer is a speed outlier, not a tutorial. Skip 2x cash and VIP until you finish lots on purpose. Both are shop offers seen in gameplay (prices not invented here). 2x cash multiplies completed work. VIP points at premium jobs. Neither paints the edges. Skip dumping a stash into upgrades minutes before Rebirth.
The truck squeegee attachment sits next to length: a shop add-on, not a sixth official stat. If you buy it, still upgrade character squeegee length until you have tested both on a real pad.
Rebirth rebuild
Official description: Rebirth for permanent cash multipliers, then pay the toll toward Estate District and Megamart. Exact Rebirth prices are not on this page. In typical Roblox rebirth sims, cash and purchased upgrades reset while the multiplier stays. Play as if that pattern is the working rule until updates or the official Roblox page say otherwise.
Post-Rebirth list: rebuild bucket capacity, then squeegee length, then pour, then refill, walk speed last. Re-evaluate trucks only after the bucket is not a joke. Do not Rebirth broke, and do not Rebirth with a full tree you are about to lose. Spend leftover cash on a last 100% job or claim daily rewards, then take the multiplier. The rebirth guide and districts cover when the toll is worth paying. Bigger districts make capacity and length more valuable. A tiny bucket on a Megamart pad is a self-own.
Servers hold eight players. A huge squeegee on a crowded cul-de-sac can block a neighbour’s Bantam Dart — a Players Hub problem as much as a meta one. Do not AFK on a live lot; park in the AFK Yard. Leaderboard climbers who skip coverage still fail the lot. Quests should be cleared at 100%, not “good enough for the counter.” Promo codes on the codes hub are not an upgrade tree. Executors that promise instant max capacity belong behind scripts and script safety.
After a Rebirth, do not improvise: capacity, length, pour, refill, walk — then the next truck on the Tier List Hub that matches the district you just unlocked.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Seal A Driveway jobs, rebirth, and trucks.
What should I upgrade first in Seal A Driveway?
Bucket capacity and squeegee length. Pour speed next, refill speed after that, walk speed last. The money guide uses the same order.
Is 164 L the max bucket?
No claimed cap. About 164 L showed up in a long public session. Treat it as proof capacity climbs high, not as a number you must copy.
Does Rebirth delete my upgrades?
Official text promises permanent cash multipliers. Typical Roblox rebirth sims reset cash and upgrades. Rebuild capacity and length first after each Rebirth. Costs are not listed here.
Should I buy walk speed on the Bantam Dart?
Usually no. A faster walk with a tiny blade still leaves misses. Outgrow the Bantam Dart via the truck tier list after capacity and length feel decent.
Do 2x cash and VIP count as upgrades?
They are shop offers, not the five official stats. Buy them only if you already finish lots. VIP premium jobs still need 100% coverage.
Where do I learn to use a huge squeegee?
How to seal for the bead, controls for steering, Players Hub so you do not clip a neighbour.
